Series 1 Designer Motomichi Nakamura has a new video installation piece entitled "Walk" that will be exhibited at the Platform International Animation Festival at Gallery 214.
The festival starts from June 25 till June 30, 2007.

Designer Profile : Sean Griffin
Sean Griffin (aka GriffinOne) is currently living in Tempe Arizona and is a nationwide muralist and illustrator. Though his art carries a strong graffiti influence, his work ranges in many different styles and mediums that may surprise you.
We had the privelage of meeting Sean way back when through a posting over at Land+Living, and have been fans ever since. A true professional and a pleasure for Boardeli to work with thus far.

Designer Profile : Azadeh Qasimi
We became familiar with Iranian graphic designer Azadeh Qasimi at last years Deck the Halls exhibit in Edmonton and quickly added her to our list of 'must haves' for our Series 1 line-up. My name is Azadeh Qasimi. I am Persian.
Art is always my interest, especially in traditional contexts. Almost all formats and mediums are my favorites, but drawing and painting make the main part of my works.
Design is another aspect and I have academic background in both painting and graphic design. As a designer, I try to use my experience and skills in traditional arts to make new designs. I think it is very interesting to use the power of traditional formats for transferring messages in a new way.

Public Debut
Series 1 designer, Megz Majewski, debuted her 100 run Boardeli deck this past week at the Murder of Crows group show in Vancouver.
So who the @#$% is Boardeli?
Plain and simple, Boardeli's a little company out of Canada that makes limited edition longboard decks.
We've invited 15 of our favorite designers to help create our Series 1 line of decks that are limited to a run of 100 as well as a variant design at a sick run of only 10!
